Padparadscha Sapphires are one of the rarest and most highly coveted gems on earth. They are certainly the most 
highly revered and rarest of all Sapphires. Padparadscha is named for its unique and hypnotizing orange to pink color, generally described as “salmon.” The name comes from the Sinhalese padmaraga meaning “lotus flower.” Padparadscha color ranges from pinkish-orange to orangish-pink with a range of saturation. It is said to emulate the colors of the sunset over its original source, Sri Lanka.
